Senior Incident Manager

About the Role
As Senior Incident Manager, you will play a central role in developing, implementing and leading our incident management process. You will define best practices, build playbooks, and ensure the right structures and processes are in place for effective incident response. In close collaboration with tech teams and other departments, you will work to minimize risks and strengthen our ability to manage incidents.
Your role will be both strategic and hands-on—leading major incidents in real time while continuously improving processes through root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews.
You will also be responsible for:
- Oversee and continuously improve the incident management framework, ensuring a structured and efficient response to critical incidents.
- Act as the operational lead during major incidents, coordinating efforts across tech teams and business units.
- Strengthen a culture of proactive incident management, fostering continuous improvement and risk reduction.
You will be part of our Operations Center team alongside four skilled colleagues and report to the Engineering Manager within the Driftsplattform Area. Since this is a newly established position, you will have a unique opportunity to shape and influence the function from day one.
Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a seasoned Incident Manager with a strong operational background in tech and with experience in high-stakes environments. You have excellent communication skills and can educate, inform, and engage stakeholders at all levels. You’re a natural problem-solver with the ability to act fast and decisively under pressure.
You have a passion for building new functions, improving processes, and working in dynamic environments. You enjoy taking ownership and leading incident response with a strategic mindset while maintaining a hands-on approach when needed.
We would prefer if you have:
- Several years of work experience in Incident Management or operational roles within tech or finance.
- Operational experience in incident management and the ability to drive processes from start to finish.
- Experience with ITSM tools and established Incident Management processes.
- Track record of building and refining incident management processes in a fast-moving organization.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English (spoken and written).
