About the Role
As Head of Design, you masterfully balance a genuine passion for the craft with a sharp strategic mindset. You lead the vision for the entire design organization, from deep user insights to the final visual experience, and play a pivotal role in shaping both product strategy and business-critical decisions.

A central part of your mission will also be shaping design in the AI era, driving how we integrate AI and personalization to build a proactive customer experience rooted in security and trust. You help customers take control of their finances by translating complex technology and regulatory requirements into simple, intuitive experiences.

In this role, you will:

• Partner closely in the Product- and Tech leadership team, to ensure that delivering true customer value remains at the heart of everything we build.

• Scale and evolve our design organization, fostering a world-class creative and safe culture that attracts and develops top talent.

• Navigate organizational, technical, and regulatory complexity to drive alignment and synergy between teams and leadership.

• Drive innovation and strategic change with confidence, while hands-on and through your team ensuring a product where world-class UX makes the complex simple.

The Team: You report to our CPO and have the overall responsibility for a design organization of approximately 30 people. You directly lead three Design Leads, each responsible for teams of UX designers and UI specialists across different areas. Your mission is to coach them to success and ensure a cohesive, world-class customer experience across the entire product. You also hold a Design Lead role within the Customer Experience area, driving several key aspects of the overall experience.

Who You Are
We are seeking a senior leader with world-class UX expertise, passionate about developing others and with a proven track record of coaching managers in fast-paced tech environments. You have a natural ability to zoom out and see the big picture, setting long-term direction, while also possessing a keen sense of how UI details and UX insights work together to create products that customers love and that strengthen both brand and trust.

An excellent designer in your own right, equally comfortable working hands-on and guiding your team when needed. We also believe that you have:

• Proven leadership experience from a similar role, ideally within complex digital products or platforms.

• A strategic and bold mindset, comfortable taking calculated risks while always keeping customer trust at the center.

• Strong relational skills, with a supportive and down-to-earth approach that naturally builds trust across an organization.

• A good understanding of the Swedish language. Since we primarily operate in Swedish, you need to be comfortable following and participating in discussions, though full spoken fluency is not a requirement.
