Our Recruitment Process
Selection
We review applications continuously, right up until the day after the deadline. If we see a match, we’ll reach out for a quick introductory chat over the phone. If we decide not to move forward this time, we’ll make sure to let you know via email as soon as possible.
Assessments
The tests we use vary depending on the role. Usually, they include personality and skills assessments, and in some cases, a technical challenge. These help us match your unique strengths with the right position, and of course, you’ll get a full report of your results afterwards.
Interviews
If we’re both feeling the spark after our first chat, we’ll invite you for interviews. Typically, we meet 2–3 times to dive deeper into your experiences and personal superpowers. At every step, we’ll keep you posted on what’s coming next.
Background Check
As a final candidate, we’ll ask for 2-3 references to confirm your track record. Since we operate in the financial world, we also perform standard background checks with your consent. This includes a credit check, corporate engagements, and a criminal record extract.
Employment
Finally, it’s time to make it official! When we sign the contract, we’ll walk you through all the awesome benefits of working at Avanza and pick a start date that works for both of us. We can’t wait to have you on board!

Interviews usually take place at our office at Regeringsgatan 103 in central Stockholm, but sometimes we meet over Google Meet instead.
If we’re meeting online, try to ensure you have a stable connection, headphones, and a quiet spot. Since some interviews involve cases or tasks, we recommend using a computer rather than a phone.
